Axolotl Doric Effect
Axolotl Doric texture is inspired by the three orders of ancient Greek and Roman architecture. Axolotl Doric makes a bold, powerful, and uncompromising design statement with sharp and pronounced straight lines.
Axolotl Doric can be used throughout your home or building. To make Doric we first process the substrate to create the flutes according to your exact design. We then add one of our Axolotl surfaces and work the material by hand. The results are stunning!
Axolotl Cortex Effect
Axolotl Cortex. In its simplest aesthetic meaning cortex relates to the alternating regions of relatively darker and lighter wood grains resulting from the differing growth parameters occurring across the seasons on a cut or split piece of wood.
Causes including stress and special grain alignments produce articulated natural features in wood. Their rarity often promotes the value of both the raw material and the finished work of which it becomes a part.
Axolotl Lunar Effect
Axolotl Lunar is an otherwordly surface derived from the moons crust and made up of a rocky surface with a blanket of unconsolidated, loose, heterogeneous superficial deposits covering the solid surface. Lunar’s influence includes dust, broken rocks, and other related materials that is also present on Earth, Mars, some asteroids, and other terrestrial planets. As asteroids and meteorites collide with the surface, they blast it into fine pieces that capture imprints in exceptional detail.
Lunar is a heavenly and ethereal finish that is unlike anything on the planet.
Axolotl Cast Effect
Straight out of the forge comes our signature line of Axolotl Cast Metals.
Metal casting is a manufacturing process that involves pouring molten metal into a mould to create a multidimensional product. The mould contains a hollow cavity of a desired geometrical shape and the fiery molten metal is allowed to cool down to form a solidified part. While our process does not involve heat, it perfectly emulates the truly special texture of metal when it is first cast with fire.
Axolotl Smooth Effect
Axolotl Smooth heralds the clean, minimal glean of modern architecture and with a purpose stray from additional ornamentation they are always a consistent, smooth texture. Smooth is underpinned by Axolotl Pseudo Smooth which leverages the same modern design interpretation but with a slight tonal accentuation and a nuanced feel.
